Film production lines

Polymeric film materials are widely used in the different areas of technique, agriculture, food industry, everyday  life. There are two technologies of film production :  blown film line and coextrusion film line.

Wide distribution of blown film line technology promotes her universality of the thermoplasts processed types, high productivity of lines, possibility of production of multi-layered films with the varied properties, rapid recoupment of capital investments. Principle of  blown film line technology consists of the following: a polymer enters extruder, is melted and squeezed out from a die head  blown up by air to the required sizes, and then folded in double-layer film.

Coextrusion is the extrusion of multiple layers of material simultaneously. This type of extrusion utilizes two or more extruders to melt and deliver a steady volumetric throughput of different viscous plastics to a single extrusion head (die) which will extrude the materials in the desired form. The layer thicknesses are controlled by the relative speeds and sizes of the individual extruders delivering the materials.
